LAST UPDATED: September 2026
1. Overview & Contracting Entity
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated at mazi.digital and any custom software development, digital marketing, SEO, application engineering, or workflow automation services (collectively, "Services") provided by us.
This website and all contracts entered into through it are legally contracted with Mazi Ventures Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Registered Office: Manchester, England). Operations are supported by our affiliated operational entity, Mazi Digital (Pvt) Ltd (Chadcombe, Harare, Zimbabwe).
By using this site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are ordering Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Services & Scope of Work
All Service engagements, deliverables, milestones, and timelines are defined in individual Statements of Work (SOW), project proposals, or invoices agreed between you and Mazi Ventures Ltd.
- Revisions: Unless stated otherwise in your SOW, development and design packages include up to two (2) rounds of revisions during the active project phase. Additional revision requests or scope changes will be billed at our standard hourly rates.
- Client Obligations: Timely delivery of project assets, copy, credentials, and feedback is required. Delays caused by late client assets may shift project delivery timelines accordingly.
3. Payment Terms & Currencies
- Currencies: Payments are billed and collected in British Pounds (GBP, £) or United States Dollars (USD, $) as specified on your invoice.
- Payment Gateways & Methods: Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers including Stripe, PayPal, Paynow Zimbabwe, Pesepay, or direct bank transfers into our UK or Zimbabwean bank accounts.
- Invoicing: Milestones, retainers, or upfront deposits must be paid according to the schedule on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause active development or suspend access to client staging environments if invoices are overdue by more than 7 days.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- No Refunds on Commenced Work: Due to the bespoke nature of digital agency, application engineering, and marketing services, all fees paid are non-refundable once work on a project or milestone has officially commenced.
- Completed Work: No refunds will be issued for completed deliverables or past monthly retainer cycles.
- Pre-Commencement Cancellation: If you cancel a contract before any work or discovery phase has been initiated by our team, you may request a refund minus any unrecoverable transaction or administrative processing fees.
- No Trial Periods: We do not offer free trials or trial periods for custom agency services.
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
- Pre-Existing IP: Mazi Ventures Ltd retains ownership of all pre-existing code, tools, internal frameworks, and reusable libraries developed prior to or outside of your project.
- Client Deliverables: Upon full payment of all outstanding invoices, full rights and ownership of custom-designed assets, bespoke code, and finalized website deliverables created specifically for you will transfer to you.
- Portfolio Rights: Unless governed by a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), you grant us a non-exclusive license to showcase completed work, screenshots, and your business logo in our marketing materials and client portfolio.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- Mazi Ventures Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of business, lost profits, or revenue loss arising out of or related to your use of our site or Services.
- Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Mazi Ventures Ltd for the specific project or service giving rise to the claim in the 6 months preceding the event.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
